A frameless glass balustrade system with no top handrail, giving a clean, uninterrupted glass line. Built from 10mm toughened safety glass and 316 marine grade stainless steel posts, suitable for balconies, decking, patios, terraces, staircases and landings, indoors or outdoors.
What you are ordering
Glass panels and posts are sold individually from the selector above, not as a set. Choose each panel width and each post type your run needs, then add them to your basket.
Key features
Toughened safety glass: 10mm thick tempered glass, polished on all four edges with dubbed rounded corners.
316 marine grade posts: Mirror-polished stainless steel rated for coastal sea-spray zones within ten miles of the sea.
Flush glass line: Posts are 1100mm tall and glass is 1000mm high, so the glass finishes level with the top of each post.
Clamps included: End posts arrive with two glass clamps. Centre, corner and angle posts arrive with four.
Thirteen panel widths: From 300mm to 1500mm, so a run can be divided without bespoke cutting.
Sizing your run
Allow 85mm between each panel where a post stands, and note that glass sits 40mm inside each clamp. Measure the full run first, then divide it into panels. A 100mm gap is left at the base by design, which allows water run-off and easier cleaning.
Installation notes
Fixing depth: Fix every post to a solid foundation through all base plate holes, to a minimum depth of 100mm.
Never use power tools on glass clamps. Over-tightening can stress the panel.
Angle posts are used where a run changes direction on a slope or staircase.
Important
Do not mix components from our handrail system, which uses 900mm glass and different posts. The two are not interchangeable. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the finished installation meets relevant building regulations. Large fragile items are delivered by specialist freight courier to mainland UK addresses.
