Balustrade Post Fixings - M10 Anchor Bolts, Coach Screws and Drill Tap Set

Fixings and tools for installing glass balustrade posts, matched to the substrate you are fixing into.

Choosing the right fixing

• Anchor bolts: M10 x 100mm for concrete and brickwork. Supplied in packs of ten.
• Coach screws: M10 x 100mm hexagon head for timber decking and joists. Always fix into solid joist, never decking boards alone.
• Drill and tap set: A 7mm drill bit with matching 8mm tap, for fabricating angle post fixings on site.

Fixing depth

Both fixings reach the minimum 100mm depth recommended for balustrade post base plates. Fix through every hole in the base plate, not just two, and check the post is plumb before final tightening.

Installing to a solid foundation is essential. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the finished installation meets relevant building regulations.
