Glass Balustrades – With Handrail

<p>A <strong>glass balustrade with a continuous top handrail</strong> combines an open glass infill with a hand-height rail, which many staircase and balcony installations call for. Built from <strong>10mm toughened safety glass</strong> and <strong>316 marine grade stainless steel</strong> throughout.</p>

<h3>How the system works</h3>
<p>Posts stand 1100mm tall and the glass is 900mm high. The shorter panel leaves room for the handrail to run along the top of the posts, while still leaving a 100mm gap at the base for water run-off.</p>

<li><strong>Glass panels</strong> in thirteen widths from 300mm to 1500mm</li>
<li><strong>Posts</strong> in end, centre, corner and angle configurations, clamps included</li>
<li><strong>Handrail</strong> in 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000mm and 2500mm lengths</li>
<li><strong>Top spigots</strong> to fix the rail to each post, straight or 90 degree</li>
<li><strong>Elbows and connectors</strong> to turn corners, join lengths and meet walls</li>
<li><strong>End caps</strong> to finish an open run</li>

<h3>Measuring your run</h3>
<p>Allow <strong>85mm between each panel</strong> at every post, and note that glass sits <strong>40mm inside each clamp</strong>. Work out the full run length before dividing it into panels and rail sections.</p>
