Glass Balustrades – No Handrail

<p>A <strong>frameless glass balustrade</strong> gives an uninterrupted view with no top rail breaking the sightline. These systems pair <strong>10mm toughened safety glass</strong> with <strong>316 marine grade stainless steel posts</strong>, and are suited to balconies, decking, patios, terraces, staircases and landings, indoors or out.</p>

<h3>How the system works</h3>
<p>Posts stand 1100mm tall and the glass is 1000mm high, so the top of each panel finishes level with the top of the post. A 100mm gap is left at the base by design, allowing water run-off and easier cleaning underneath.</p>

<h3>Choosing your components</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Glass panels</strong> in thirteen widths from 300mm to 1500mm, so a run divides without bespoke cutting</li>
<li><strong>End posts</strong> for the start and finish of a run, supplied with two glass clamps</li>
<li><strong>Centre posts</strong> between panels, supplied with four clamps</li>
<li><strong>Corner posts</strong> where a run turns, supplied with four clamps</li>
<li><strong>Angle posts</strong> for sloped runs and staircases, supplied with four clamps</li>

<h3>Measuring your run</h3>
<p>Allow <strong>85mm between each panel</strong> where a post stands, and note that glass sits <strong>40mm inside each clamp</strong>. Measure the full run first, then divide it into panels.</p>

<p><strong>Not the system you need?</strong> If you want a continuous hand-height rail along the top, our handrail system uses shorter 900mm glass and different posts. The two are not interchangeable.</p>
